Brother Phap Xa is a Dutch monk and was ordained in Plum Village in February 2003. He became a Dharma Teacher in January 2010. Since July 2010 he has been living and  teaching in the EIAB (European Institute of Applied Buddhism) in Germany. He has always enjoyed sports and being physically active and is happy to hike in the many forests a

Brother Phap Xa is a Dutch monk and was ordained in Plum Village in February 2003. He became a Dharma Teacher in January 2010. Since July 2010 he has been living and  teaching in the EIAB (European Institute of Applied Buddhism) in Germany. He has always enjoyed sports and being physically active and is happy to hike in the many forests around the EIAB. A couple of times a year he shares the most beautiful hiking trails with many people attending these hiking retreats. Before becoming a monk, he graduated in Applied Mathematics.

Brother Phap Luu

Brother Phap Lưu was ordained as a monk on December 13th 2003, and became a Dharma Teacher in 2011. Since 2009 he has been teaching and training in Plum Village Monastery in France. He graduated from Dartmouth College in the USA with a degree in English Literature. He enjoys walking, sleeping and breathing outside in nature, and has recently led a number of hiking retreats in the US and Italy.

Brother Phap Chung (Dharma Community)  was born and raised in My Loi Village near Hue.
He was accepted and was able to ordain as a novice September 20, 2008 in the Tu Hieu Temple in Hue. 
He then received his Full Ordination February, 27, 2012.  Will soon be receiving the Lamp Transmission on September 4, 2019 in Blue Cliff Monastery.

 He was a resident in Magnolia Grove Monastery from November 2011 till September 2016 
In 2016, he returned to Vietnam and resided at Tu Duc Temple in Cam Ranh, near Nha Trang for one year and a half before returning to Magnolia Grove Monastery in December 2017, During this time, he helped with maintenance, sound team, and landscaping.  He also had the chance to support retreats and Days of Mindfulness in other states like Alabama, Ohio, Florida, New York, California, Also, leading walking meditation and total relaxation.
He also guides new lay friends with orientation, so that they can feel comfortable during their stay.  Br. Chan Phap Chung is a stable, light, and joyful brother, which brings a lot of joy and harmony to the community.  He is very open and inclusive to everyone.  Building brotherhood and sister hood is very important to his practice and is something he nourishes and builds every day. Br. Chan Phap Chung has helped and participated in teaching tours in the United States of America as well as Vietnam.

Brother Dao Hanh (Spiritual Action) was born in the sunny south of the Netherlands in a small town called Panningen. He was ordained as a monk in 2015 in the Redwood family. He lived for five and a half years in Plum Village France, and four and a half years in Magnolia Grove Monastery in the United States, Mississippi. He currently resid

Brother Dao Hanh (Spiritual Action) was born in the sunny south of the Netherlands in a small town called Panningen. He was ordained as a monk in 2015 in the Redwood family. He lived for five and a half years in Plum Village France, and four and a half years in Magnolia Grove Monastery in the United States, Mississippi. He currently resides in France. 

In his spare time brother Dao Hanh finds joy in creative expression like practicing calligraphy or drawing, doing exercise, and drinking tea amongst other things. He has done several cycling and walking holidays before he was ordained, and has since then also participated in a couple of mindful hiking retreats in the United States.

Brother Phap Tri was ordained as a monk in the Plum Village tradition in January 2006 in Vietnam. He soon moved to Plum Village in France and moved in September 2008 to the EIAB (European Institute of Applied Buddhism) in Germany to help open and develop this new center. He became a Dharma Teacher in 2014 and has been leading retreats in 

Brother Phap Tri was ordained as a monk in the Plum Village tradition in January 2006 in Vietnam.
